A waterfall and pond located in the heart of volcano of Tahiti. It seems that the color turquoise is due to the presence of micro-algae! The rocks around are phonolites, less rich in silica than basalt!

This place called "Maroto" will be (hopefully) a trip with my 4th for geological study the volcanic landscapes!
