The Franconian is spoken, written, sung and stories in much of the Moselle, in the nearby German states, Luxembourg and southern Belgium.
It is still well rooted in the usages and customs-is the Moselle.
Many people lament the disappearance of their culture but do nothing to defend. 140 students-is the Moselle have chosen the option of Moselle Regional Language in the trough test in 2009 (RL June 3, 2009)
